Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information.
1. Who we are
Mad Yolk Farm (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website. We are based at Knockroe, Craughwell, Co. Galway, H91 YDT2, Ireland. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
2. Information we collect
When you book a sauna session we collect your name, email address and (optionally) phone number, along with the details of your booking.
When you create a member account we collect your name and email address through our sign-in provider. When you buy a gift card you may also give us a recipient’s name and email so we can deliver the gift.
When you contact us or sign up to our newsletter we collect the details you provide. We do not collect or store your card details — payments are handled entirely by our payment provider.
3. How we use your information
We use your information only to provide our services: to take and confirm bookings, send booking and gift-card emails, manage memberships, respond to enquiries, and run the sauna day to day.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site. Payments are processed by Stripe. Member accounts and sign-in are handled by Clerk. Booking and customer data is stored with Convex. Emails are sent through Resend. The site is hosted on Vercel.
Each of these providers processes data only as needed to deliver their part of the service, under their own data-protection commitments.
5. Cookies
The site uses essential cookies needed for sign-in sessions and secure checkout. These are required for the booking and account features to work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep booking, membership and gift-card records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete information that we are no longer required to keep.
7. Your rights
Under data-protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it, and to object to or restrict certain uses.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always lives on this page.
